MEET TITAN : My Yamaha MT-07
TITAN is the Motorcycle Behind This Journey: a Yamaha MT-07 built for Amsterdam streets, weekend escapes and steady riding progress. This is where I document the bike, the setup, the lessons and the stories that come with motorcycle life.

Why I chose the MT-07
I wanted a motorcycle that felt alive without being overwhelming. Something light enough for Amsterdam traffic, fun enough for open roads and honest enough to teach me every time I ride. TITAN became that bike.
Who is TITAN?
TITAN is not just my MT-07. It is my training partner, my creative tool and the motorcycle that helps me become a calmer, safer, more confident rider.
What TITAN will be part of
TITAN will appear across this website as I document what I learn: riding smoother, handling Amsterdam traffic, choosing practical gear, maintaining the bike and slowly building toward bigger motorcycles and trips.

Current setup / modifications
TITAN is currently set up with a few practical upgrades that improve the riding experience, comfort, sound and overall look of the bike. I have kept the setup fairly clean and functional, with the focus still on riding skill, safety and everyday usability.
| Upgrade | Details | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Tyres | Michelin Road 6 front and rear | Reliable all-weather sport-touring tyres, especially useful for changing road conditions and wet rides around Amsterdam. |
| Exhaust | Akrapovic Titanium | Gives the MT-07 a deeper, cleaner sound and adds more character to the riding experience. |
| Air Filter | BMC air filter | A performance-focused air filter upgrade that supports better airflow compared to the standard setup. |
| Levers | Short brake and clutch levers | Improves the feel at the controls and gives the cockpit a cleaner, sportier look. |
| Wind Protection | Windscreen / windshield | Helps reduce wind pressure slightly, especially on longer rides or open roads. |
| Rear End | Tail tidy | Cleans up the rear of the bike visually and gives TITAN a sharper, more minimal look. |
