My priority is to help readers make safer, clearer and better-informed decisions about motorcycle riding, gear and ownership.
Personally Owned, Tested and Researched Products
Not every product mentioned on ByMrJohnson has been used in the same way. I will try to make that distinction clear.
Products I Own or Use
When I say that I own or regularly use a product, this means it is part of my own riding, motorcycle ownership or content-creation experience.
Where relevant, I may explain how long I have used it, what motorcycle or riding conditions I used it with and any limitations I noticed.
Personal experience does not mean that a product will suit every rider. Fit, comfort, riding style, climate, motorcycle type and personal preferences can all affect whether a product is suitable.
Products I Have Tested
Some products may be borrowed, supplied temporarily or tested for a limited period.
When this happens, I will explain the nature of that experience wherever it is relevant. A short review period is not the same as long-term ownership, and I will not present it as such.
Researched Recommendations
Some articles may include products that I have not personally owned or tested.
These recommendations may be based on factors such as manufacturer information, applicable safety standards, product specifications, reputable third-party testing, owner feedback, intended use and comparison with competing options.
When a recommendation is research-based rather than based on personal ownership, I will aim to say so clearly.
Readers should not assume that every product mentioned on ByMrJohnson has been personally used by me.

Product prices, discounts, availability, delivery options, warranty terms and retailer conditions can change without notice.
Information shown on ByMrJohnson may therefore differ from the information displayed by the retailer when you visit its website.
